The Australian Green Infrastructure Council’s inaugural Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Thursday, 6 August 2009 in Brisbane. (A formal notice and agenda will be provided closer to the date.)

AGIC is now calling for nominations for the Board.

Five Board positions will be available for election:

-          Three Board positions will become available for re-election

-          The Board is proposing to change the constitution to include two additional Director positions, increasing the number of Board members from nine to 11. (The two additional Directors will be invited by the Board after the AGM.)

Any member seeking to nominate a Director must formally register their nomination with AGIC before Tuesday, 7 July 2009 by signing the below BOARD CANDIDATE NOMINATION FORM.

Category Authorship Progress
AGIC's independent Tender Review Team has completed the assessment of the Category Authorship Tenders and will shortly commence the engagement process with the preferred tenderers.
We would like to thank all who submitted a Category Author Tender Package. The large number of submissions received meant a challenging task for the review team and has resulted in the identification of a number of very high calibre Category Authors.

AGIC is also in the process of identifying potential Peer Reviewers for the AGIC sustainability assessment categories/sub-categories.

If you or your organisation is interested in nominating a Peer Reviewer, and you haven't already registered your interest, email AGIC's Tool Development Project Manager at catenders@agic.net.au. Organisations and individuals who register interest will be requested to provide information to support their nomination. The AGIC peer review work is intended to be pro bono.

AGIC Business Case Peer Review
The AGIC Business Case was reviewed in Sydney on 6 February 2009. A draft business plan will be developed based on the outcomes from this review. The business plan will be completed before the Board elections in June.
