AGIC Volunteer to Study Overseas
Kristen MacAskill will travel to Cambridge University to undertake further studies in Sustainable Development.
 

AGIC Grants Coordinator

AGIC is calling for nominations for the voluntary position of Grants Coordinator. It is envisaged that the Grant Coordinator would be responsible for developing and working with a small group of volunteers to:

  • Identify external sources of funds (both public and private)
  • Analyse and prioritise the funding sources based on the likelihood of success of AGIC obtaining funds
  • Developing and implementing a strategy to obtain funds
  • Compiling and submitting funding applications in consultation with AGIC’s Governance, Admin and Finance (GAF) working group
  • Monitor, recommend and pursue future grant opportunities.

The Responsible Investment AcademySupports AGIC

Doug Harland and Antony Sprigg represented AGIC at the inaugural meeting of the Responsible Investment Academy in early February. AGIC and the Academy both expressed their willingness and strong desire to work together and a MOU is currently under review.

 

AGIC Business Case Peer Review

The AGIC Business Case was reviewed in Sydney on 6 February 2009. A draft business plan will be developed based on the outcomes of this review.

Call for Category Authors & Peer Reviewers
AGIC received a large number of high quality submissions in response to the Expressions of Interest for Category Authors advertised across the nation.

As part of the ongoing development of the AGIC Infrastructure Sustainability Rating Scheme we are now in the process of identifying Category Authors & Peer Reviewers for the remaining four sub-categories.

AGIC is currently reviewing nominations for Authors and Peer Reviewers for the following four sub-categories:

  • 2.2 Due Diligence (Economic Performance)
  • 6.1 Health, Wellbeing, Safety (People & Place)
  • 6.2 Natural & Cultural Heritage Values (People & Place)
  • 7.1 Safety, Health & Wellbeing of Workforce (Workforce).
