Doug Harland - Chief Executive Officer

Doug has more than 30 years experience as a professional engineer. Prior to joining AGIC, Doug was the Executive General Manager of Toowoomba Metal Technologies. He is Queensland Past-President and Past-National Vice-President of the Australian Industry Group, Past National Chairman of the National Cast Metals Council and a Fellow of Engineers Australia.

Nick has over 20 years local and international experience providing strategic, project management and technical advice to the water, natural resources and infrastructure sectors, with specialist expertise in project and regional planning and investment analysis. He holds a PhD in sustainable urban development, and brings considerable experience in the practical application of sustainability to significantly enhance private and public organisations and capital projects. Nick also provides considerable senior leadership experience in business and industry bodies.

Scott Lambert, Director, Company Secretary

Scott is a Partner with Holding Redlich Lawyers and has more than 22 years experience as a construction and infrastructure lawyer. As a front end construction specialist, Scott incorporates the latest legal developments and industry practices to provide his clients with the most appropriate documented structure for any project. Over the past few years, Scott has become increasingly involved in a wise range of environmentally sustainable projects and is an accredited Green Star Professional. He holds memberships with AMPLA, IAQ and the Queensland Resources Council and is National Chair of the Law Council of Australia Construction and Infrastructure Law Committee.

Scott Losee - Director

Scott is a Technical Director and leader of AECOM’s Sustainability and Climate Change Business in Australia and New Zealand. Scott focuses on incorporating holistic sustainability concepts into large scale infrastructure, building and planning projects. He also provides specialist services in climate change, carbon management, applied sustainability, energy and water resource management. Scott led sustainability, energy and air quality with Brisbane City Council (1998-2006) and worked in environment, planning and policy roles with the Queensland Government (1991-1998). Scott is a Director of the Australian Green Infrastructure Council and was a member of BCC’s Climate Change & Energy Taskforce. Scott trained in Environment and Resource Studies in Canada and has an MPhil in Environmental Sciences and Engineering from Griffith University, Australia.

Penny Townley - Director

Penny is an experienced communications professional having managed communications on major transport, water, wastewater, waste, energy and environmental projects for 27 years. She was involved in delivering social change campaigns including the introduction of recycling, renewable energy and riverine environmental management in NSW before managing communications and community engagement on major infrastructure projects ranging from $500M to $2.5b in Queensland.

Jayne Whitney - Director

 

Jayne is Group General Manager for Corporate Affairs in Tenix, a role that includes oversight of Tenix’s corporate sustainability function. Jayne has extensive management and strategic marketing experience and for the past 11 years has worked in the infrastructure field, representing both asset owners and service providers. Over the last 22 years Jayne has overseen the corporate marketing functions in companies in Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe, United States and South East Asia. Immediately prior to joining Tenix Jayne was General Manager of Business Development for Agility (AGL) and Alinta Asset Management (now Jemena).

David Singleton - Chairman

 David Singleton has extensive experience as a member of various industry and professional association boards, in Australia and the United Kingdom, either as chairman or board member. Currently Chairman, Australian Green Infrastructure Council and a Director of Standards Australia Ltd, he was previously a Member of Living with Environmental Change Strategy Board, UK and a Member, Advisory Board, University of Cambridge Program for Sustainability Leadership. Other board experience includes: Chair, Australian Construction Industry Forum; Director, Cooperative Research Centre for Construction Innovation and President, Consult Australia [formerly Association of Consulting Engineers Australia].

 

David has led the growth and development of the global business of Arup as a founding member of the Arup Group Board since 2001. His career has spanned executive leadership as CEO and Chairman of Arup Australasia [1996-2004] and global roles as Chairman of Arup’s global Infrastructure business [2004-2011] and Leader of Arup’s global Planning business [from April 2011].

Mark Rogers - Deputy Chairman

Mark is responsible for the development and implementation of asset management strategies for various portfolios. He brings more than 12 years’ experience on all sides of the infrastructure sector from his involvement with the Department of Transport and Regional Services during the Federal airport privatisation process, his private consulting experience in major infrastructure projects and his work with Origin Energy in project construction and operation in the oil and gas sector.

Nick Apostolidis - Director

Nick has more than 32 years’ experience in infrastructure. Most of his experience has been in the water sector. He has a thorough understanding of global trends in the sustainable management of water and wastewater. Nick has helped to position GHD as the foremost provider of water consulting services in Australasia and beyond. Under Nick’s leadership GHD has developed an international profile for delivering major water projects that address the challenges posed by climate change and sustainability.

Denis Cook - Director

Denis has over 40 years experience managing a wide range of significant infrastructure planning and development projects throughout Queensland.

In his career with the Queensland Government, he led teams responsible for ensuring infrastructure policy and planning supported Queensland's economic, social and environmental objectives. As the Deputy Coordinator-General for a period of six years, he provided strategic leadership to the State's economic development and infrastructure initiatives with special emphasis on the management of impact assessments and approvals for major industrial, mining and infrastructure projects. He was also involved in strategic land and infrastructure planning and development, and the negotiation of the government's commercial arrangements with the proponents of major private sector projects.

Since joing PB as a Major Projects Executive in 2006, Denis has been involved in a wide range of projects and strategic planning studies in the transport, resources, community development and energy sectors.

Russell Cuttler- Director

Russell has over 30 years experience in Australia and overseas, having worked in both the public and private sector. He has been involved in some of the largest projects undertaken both locally and abroad and has played major roles in Alliance projects including the first major public sector alliance in Australia, the Northside Storage Tunnel Alliance.

As Executive General Manger, Operational Services, Russell is responsible for the strategy, guidance, governance and leads and manages the development of the organisations’ policies, procedures and culture with respect to OHS, Quality, Environment, Industrial Relations, Human Resources and Operational Systems. Russell is also a member of the executive team, a Director of the operating company as well as on several joint venture committees.

Anne Davis - Director

Anne is a senior lawyer in the Clayton Utz Construction and Major Projects Group. Her practice is primarily non-contentious, focusing on advising, drafting and preparing contracts and tender documentation. Anne's recent experience relates to the delivery of large infrastructure projects (road, rail and ports) and utilities, as well as a variety of large and medium works construction projects. In addition, Anne has acted as probity advisor and provided advice and drafted submissions in complex arbitral and Supreme Court proceedings, including in relation to an international energy project and a major retail development.
